Video alerts are created by default when Video is enabled on your Reveal account.
They provide visibility into driver behavior and safety incidents as they happen. These notifications help you quickly identify high-risk events so you can take action to improve fleet safety.
Note
Video alerts are independent of harsh driving alerts. If you have both harsh driving and video alerts enabled, you will receive two notifications for the same incident.

How video alerts work
Use the Alerts tab in Reveal to manage video alert notifications.
You can create alerts for specific event types and view your current settings in the My alerts tab.
Events are classified by urgency to help you prioritize which videos to watch first:
- Critical
- Major
- Moderate
Alerts and notification settings
Notification settings remain enabled until an administrator updates them. The first user created for your company's Reveal account is typically the administrator.
To update notification recipients or the frequency of alerts, an administrator must first grant you Full access permissions. They can do this in Admin > Manage Roles and Permissions.
