Immobilising a vehicle in Reveal Manager

If you have migrated from Trackeasy and Ornicar, follow the procedure outlined in Method 2.

 

Method 1

To immobilise a vehicle, follow these steps:

  1. In the Reveal Manager app, open the Vehicle status list.
  2. Select the vehicle from the list.
  3. On the map, choose the vehicle status icon.
  4. Choose IMMOBILISE, then CONTINUE.
    Note: You may have to open the Actions menu to find the IMMOBILISE button.
  5. Select a reason for immobilising the vehicle and choose IMMOBILISE.
    Note: If the vehicle is in privacy mode, you cannot see its current location, only its last known location.
  6. The status updates to Request Pending. You can cancel a request by choosing CANCEL IMMOBILISATION.
    Note: If the request cannot be sent, the status updates to Request Failed.
    When the request is complete, the status changes to Immobilised and the vehicle icon changes to Stopped.

 

 

Method 2

Note: This procedure is for customers who have migrated from Trackeasy or Ornicar only.

  1. To immobilise a vehicle, follow these steps:
  2. In the Reveal Manager app, open the Vehicle status list.
  3. Select the vehicle from the list.
  4. On the map, choose the vehicle status icon.
  5. Choose Immobilise.
  6. Choose Activate.
