The Fleet summary report displays your fleet's operational activity over a selected period. Use this report to compare active driving hours against idle time, helping you pinpoint excessive idling or confirm that vehicles are meeting their usage targets.
How to run a Fleet summary report
- Go to Reports > Fleet summary report.
- Select the options you want to apply from the Fleet selection, Time settings, and Advanced options sections.

Fleet selection
- Select entire fleet: Run the report against your entire fleet. If selected, you cannot choose specific vehicles, assets, or drivers manually.
- Select vehicles: Choose the vehicles to include in your report.
- Select powered assets: Choose the powered assets to include in your report.
- Select non-powered assets: Choose the non-powered assets to include in your report (not applicable to all reports).
- Select drivers: Choose the drivers to include in your report.
- Select groups: Choose the groups to include in your report.
- Results view: Determines if the report is broken down into vehicles or drivers
Time settings
- Select the date range for the report: Choose the specific dates for the report. You can typically choose from pre-set options or define a custom date range.
- Time range: Specify the hours to include in the report (for example, business hours only).
- Days of week: To select specific days for the report, clear the All days checkbox and select the buttons only for the days you want to include. For example, to view only weekday activity, select Mon through Fri.

Time zone: Select whether to base the time zone in the report on User, Vehicle, or UTC.
Advanced options
- What stops do you want to include: Choose how the report defines a "stop."
- Both ignition off and idle stops: Select this if your drivers often make deliveries without turning off the engine. The system records a "Stop" whenever the vehicle stops moving, regardless of the ignition state.
- Ignition Off Stops only: Select this if you only want to count stops where the engine was fully shut down.
- Hide Stops less than: Enter a time in minutes. Stops shorter than this duration are ignored and considered part of the driving time.

Region: Select your country. This ensures that dates, numbers, and measurement units (such as speed and distance) match your region's conventions.
Fleet summary report detailsThe report displays the following:
- Vehicle or driver: The name of the vehicle or driver, depending on the Results view option you selected in Fleet settings.
- Active days: The number of days the vehicle was in use during the report period.
- Engine on: The total time the engine was running.
- Driving duration: The total time the vehicle spent driving.
- Idling duration: The total time the vehicle spent idling.
- Engine off: The total time the vehicle's engine was turned off during the workday. This metric excludes the first and last stops of the reporting period (typically overnight parking) and any stops that extend beyond the report's selected time range.
- Distance: The total distance travelled by the vehicle.
- Max speed: The maximum speed reached by the vehicle during the selected period.
- Number of stops: The total number of stops made by the vehicle.
