Restart troubleshooting now available

We recently implemented the ability for you to remotely restart your device within Reveal via the Device Health Check feature without the need to call Support. You can easily navigate to this feature from the Live Map. Once there, choose Device Health Check. A restart will momentarily terminate all device operations enabling the device to fully reboot, but without loss of your data. If restart is unsuccessful in resolving the issue at hand, you can immediately access troubleshooting guides or connect with an agent via Live Chat.

SpeedGauge integration

SpeedGauge Inc. is a premier driver behavior analytics and performance company. It can help your fleet managers track the speeding behavior of drivers and compare their safety performance to other fleets. Reveal and SpeedGauge have now integrated to provide these analytics for you. The one-way integration pulls vehicle data directly from Reveal into SpeedGauge platforms which then allows fleet managers to monitor driver behavior more closely. This is perfect if you are interested in prioritizing your fleet’s safety and potentially improving conversations with insurance providers.

Asset battery life alerts

Did you know you can now monitor asset trackers’ battery life under Alerts? By setting alerts, you can have peace of mind by not needing to constantly check the remaining battery life of your powered and non-powered asset trackers. These new alerts save you valuable time and give you quick visibility. Users can set a percentage level to trigger alerts down to 5% remaining. The alert default setting is set to 10%. If an asset tracker needs to be replaced or is not performing optimally, you will be notified in time to replace the existing asset tracker prior to it no longer reporting. Alerts can be set up easily by selecting "create a new alert policy" from within the Alerts Overview tab of Reveal.
