What to do when an asset tracker has a low or empty battery?

In the asset balloon, a battery level indicator tells you when the battery is close to empty.

Once the battery level of an asset tracker falls to 10%, we recommend that you contact customer support. The asset tracker's battery or the tracker itself may need to be replaced.

When the battery level of a powered asset reaches 0%, it may start sending updates to Reveal if power from the vehicle’s power source is supplied to the tracker. However, as the internal battery is empty, there will be gaps in the reporting of the unit.

Verizon Connect recommends that you check the battery levels for other asset trackers that you might have. If you had them for a long time, their battery levels may also be low or empty.
