Welcome to the July edition of Reveal updates. This month we have updates to boost your fleet management. Key enhancements include simplified hardware management with scheduled vehicle transfers and improved Live Map device error identification. A new Vehicle Overview Tab centralizes data and streamlines editing, while an upgraded DVIR eases trailer and asset inspections. Schedule a vehicle transfer from My Account
You can now schedule a technician appointment to remove or transfer a device right from My Accounts in Reveal. This simplifies fleet hardware management with:
- Effortless Scheduling/Rescheduling: Book or change appointments easily.
- Upfront Pricing: Clear costs before confirmation.
- Improved access to information: View past and future appointments.
This enhancement improves fleet management efficiency, device connectivity, and data integrity.
View device errors on the Live Map
It is now easier than ever to identify device errors for vehicle trackers, assets trackers and cameras directly from the Live Map.
Device errors encompass problems with trackers, such as "Non-reporting unit" and "False towing," and camera malfunctions, like "Unassigned cameras." When multiple device errors occur, they are categorized as "Multiple tracker or camera errors."
New Vehicle Overview Tab
This powerful new tab, accessible directly from the Fleet & Device List, offers a centralized and streamlined way to manage your vehicles and assets.

- Centralized Data: Gain an all-in-one view of your vehicle and asset data, including usage, status, specifications, installed devices, fuel efficiency, and costs – all in one convenient location.
- Streamlined Editing: You can now edit details directly on this single page, significantly improving efficiency and data accessibility. We've truly streamlined the editing process for you.
Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) upgrade
The recent upgrade to the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) streamlines the inspection process by allowing drivers to easily add up to three tracked trailers and assets to a vehicle inspection without having to restart. Drivers can simply select "Add trailer or asset," and if the item is in Reveal, it will be added to the inspection.
Each vehicle, powered asset, or non-powered asset can have a customized inspection checklist, which can include photos and text comments. Every inspection is independently submitted and stored in Reveal, and failed inspections can automatically trigger alerts to managers.
New Geofence Quick Reference Guide
Did you know one of the simplest Reveal features can also be one of the most impactful? Geofencing helps you track vehicle movement, reduce idle time and improve job tracking — all with minimal setup. This quick reference guide takes you step-by-step through using geofences to cut fuel waste, improve resource planning and increase visibility at key sites It’s easy to get started — and once you get started, you’ll wonder how you ever worked without geofences.
