This article explains why your account access may be locked and provides instructions on how to regain access.
For security purposes, if 10 unsuccessful login attempts are made to your Reveal account from one IP address, access from that IP address will be temporarily locked. This measure is in place to protect your account from unauthorized access.
If your account access has been locked, you will receive an automated email from Verizon Connect that contains a secure link to unlock your account.
Unlocking your account access
Follow these steps to unlock your account access from the affected IP address:
Open the email from Verizon Connect with the subject line Suspicious login prevented.
Click on the UNLOCK link.
You are directed to a webpage confirming that your account has been unlocked.
Once confirmed, you can close this page and return to the Reveal login screen to attempt to log in again.
If you received a Suspicious login prevented email but were not attempting to access your account, you do not need to take any action. Your account remains secure.
You may be able to access your account by attempting to log in from a different IP address. For example, from a different Wi-Fi network or device. However, your account access will remain locked from the affected IP address.
