Filters in Spotlight
Spotlight lets you filter what appears on your map, so you can see the most relevant information quickly.
Here’s some guidance on how you can set up and manage these filters:
To create a new filter, follow these steps:
- On the Spotlight map, tap on the filter icon next to the search bar.
- Choose which filter you want to apply: Groups, Vehicles, Drivers, Powered assets, or Non-powered assets.
- Select the individual entries that you want to see on the map. If you want to see all entries in the list, choose Select All. Android users can find this option by tapping the three dots.
- When you are happy with the list, tap Done.
- If you want to apply another filter, select it and repeat the process. You can select any combination of the four filters.
- Once you are happy with your chosen filters, tap Apply Filter.
To edit an existing filter, follow these steps:
To do this task, do the following:
- On the Spotlight map, tap on the filter icon next to the search bar.
- Select the filter you want to edit.
- Tap Reset Filter.
- Edit the list by selecting or deselecting the appropriate entries. Tapping on an already selected entry will deselect it. If you want to select or deselect the entire list, tap the three dots and choose Select All or Deselect All.
- When you are happy with the list, tap Done.
- Once you have finished editing, tap Apply.
Troubleshooting:
If you’re icons are not displaying correctly on the map, the most likely causes are:
- You’ve selected an empty group, revisit the steps above to correct this.
- You’ve selected a driver who hasn’t been assigned to a vehicle. Once you assign the driver to a vehicle they will appear on the map.
- You’ve selected a vehicle or asset that is currently not active. Once it is activated it will appear on the map.
