Video events in the Reveal Driver Plus app allows drivers to view dashcam videos on their mobile device. The driver must have the necessary permissions to do this.
Identifying the steps needed
The necessary steps depend on the driver's current mobile app access:
- Drivers with app access: Follow the steps in Enabling video events in App settings
- Drivers without app access: Follow the steps in Enabling mobile access and then Enabling video events in App settings

To create a new driver, an admin should follow the steps in the Create drivers article first, then grant app access.
Enabling mobile access
Only admins, and users with Manage Drivers permissions can enable mobile access.
To allow a driver to sign in to the app:
- In Reveal, go to Account Profile > Admin > Drivers > Driver List.
- Select the Edit icon next to the driver you want to grant access to.
- In the Details tab, go to the Mobile Access section and select Enable Access.
The driver’s login credentials were set when their driver profile was created. If the driver does not have these credentials:
- If prompted, create a temporary Driver Log Password and click SAVE.
- In the Details tab, verify the email address is correct.
- In the Mobile Options tab, select EMAIL PASSWORD RESET. The driver receives an email to reset their password.
Enabling video events in App settings
Only admins can manage App settings.
To grant permission for a driver to view video events:
- In Reveal, go to Account profile > MY ACCOUNT
- Click Manage your user and account preferences.
- Scroll to App settings.
- In the Driver Plus app settings section, set Show video events to Yes.
