My Benchmarks
My Benchmarks is a fully customizable set of parameters that you can defined to fit your company policies and business practice. Key metrics are identified by answering questions and the benchmarks set are reflected throughout the site in reports, dashboards and alerts.
There are two ways to get to the My Benchmarks page:

Click you user name at the top-right of any page and select My Benchmarks from the drop-down that loads.

Click the My Benchmarks link that appears at the top-right of the Dashboard page.
Before we explore the various option available in My Benchmarks, let us explain some of the common features that occur in My Benchmarks. This will help explain how to go about setting parameters:
The majority of the parameters will have a check box beside them. This box can be checked to turn the parameter on, which means it's will be displayed throughout the site. Clear the check box to switch it off, which means that it will not be visible anywhere. The default setting is "on".
The slider appears on a number of parameters. A value can be set by moving the white circle to the left or right on the line. The value is displayed in text to the right of the slider and this will update as you move the circle.
The following options are available:

Previous: clicking this button will load the previous tab and will disregard any changes made to the current one. This does not appear on the first tab.

Save: clicking this button saves any changes made to the current parameters and will remain on that tab.

Save & Continue: this saves changes to the current parameters and then continues on to load the next tab with the next set of parameters.
My Benchmarks consists of 6 options or tabs. Each tab houses a different set of parameters, each of which are explained below:
The first section of My Benchmarks addressed industry benchmarking. Here you will be asked to select an industry and geographical area that best resembles the type of service performed by your company. Verizon Connect will then use that selection to provide you with a view into how an average company in that industry and location performs in comparison to yours.

Tip
The industry parameter cannot be switched off.
Idling can be defined as where a vehicle's engine is on, but where no or limited movement has been detected. These parameters can be seen throughout the reports suite, dashboard and live map.
Here is where you can set what you deem acceptable for an individual idling instance. Any instance that reaches or exceeds this limit will be flagged throughout the site. The slider goes from 0 minutes to 24 hours in increments of 5 minutes.
Here you can set what you deem to be the total acceptable idling duration for a 24 hour period. Any instance that reaches or exceeds this limit will be flagged throughout the site. The slider goes from 0 minutes to 24 hours in increments of 5 minutes.
This tab helps you define acceptable standards for vehicle mileage.
The speed tab lets you define limits and expectations for your vehicles with regard to how fast they travel.
Which speeding thresholds would you like to use for your fleet?
You can choose from one of the following thresholds:

Low [50, 60, 70]

High [70, 80, 90]
Once set, each speeding instance to reach or exceed one of the three speeds will be flagged throughout the site.
The time set here indicates the amount of time you deem acceptable for any one vehicle to be stopped (engine off) at a location. Any stop reaching or exceeding this limit will be flagged throughout the site. The slider goes from 0-24 hours in increments of 5 minutes.
This option lets you choose a buffer speed that you consider acceptable for your vehicles to exceed a road specific. Any vehicle reaching or exceeding this speed over a posted speed limit will be flagged throughout the site. The slider goes from 0-25 miles in increments of 5 miles.
Here is where you can set the acceptable number of speed limit violations you consider acceptable for your fleet to return during a 24 hour period. Any vehicle reaching or exceeding this amount will be flagged throughout the site. The slider goes from 0-100 in increments of 1.
This tab lets you define stop duration and allowances for your fleet.
The time set here indicates the amount of time you deem acceptable for any one vehicle to be stopped (engine off) at a location. Any stop reaching or exceeding this limit will be flagged throughout the site. The slider goes from 0-24 hours in increments of 5 minutes.
Here is where you can set what you considering to be an excessive amount of stops made by any one vehicle in a 24 hour period. Any vehicle reaching or exceeding this number of stops will be flagged throughout the site. The slider goes from 0-100 in increments of 1.
This tab lets you define the average working day for your fleet along with limitations to ensure driver safety and vehicle care.
This parameter lets you set the hours that make up your basic working day. Any vehicle in use outside these times will be flagged along with late starts and early finishes.
Here is where you can set the maximum amount of time (based on first start-up and last shutdown) a vehicle can work during a 24 hour period. Any vehicle exceeding this parameter will be flagged throughout the site. The slider goes from 0-24 hours in increments of 5 minutes.
Here you can set the amount of time any one vehicle can have their engine on during a 24 hour period. Anything reaching or exceeding this limit will be flagged throughout the site. The slider goes from 0-24 hours in increments of 5 minutes.
