Assigning Drivers and Classifying Journeys

To be able to claim tax refunds your journeys must have an assigned driver and a classification (business, personal, or, if available, commute).

To assign a driver to a journey:

  1. Display a list of journeys for a particular driver and time range.
  2. Click the ASSIGN DRIVER button for the journey that you want to assign a driver to.
  3. Select a driver from the list.

To classify a journey:

  1. Display a list of journeys for a particular driver and time range.
  2. Select the radio button next to the journey classification Business or Personal. If you are in Germany, you have the additional journey classification Commute.
  3. If you select Business, enter a mandatory comment.

To save the changes you have made to the list of journeys, click SAVE.

When you have classified and assigned a driver to all journeys, and you do not want anyone to make any further changes to the journeys in the list, click LOCK. This option is available only if you have selected a full month in the time range.
