Sort smart recommendations
This article describes how you can use smart recommendations to sort your listed technicians to make scheduling easier.
To filter the technicians based on their schedule or vehicle location, select from the Recommendations based on filter.
Note
You will only see the schedule and vehicle location options if your job is scheduled for today.

Select "Schedule" to get technician recommendations with the best travel time to the new job.

Select "Vehicle location" to see the technicians who are near to the new job right now. Each recommended technician will have a status of “Busy”, “Available”, or “Off-duty”.
If you select "Vehicle location", additional icons are displayed in the scheduler. These give you extra information on the status of the vehicle, the travel time needed to reach the desired address, if the technician has been delayed, and points to where the GPS signal was lost.
You can refine your search further using the menu shown in the following screenshot. Choose from four categories:
Sorting by "Total travel time" highlights technicians whose schedule takes them close to the job location at the required time.
This is calculated using the technician’s current location, the technician’s home address, or your company address.
We recommend that you add your company address and your technicians' starting locations (if they do not start and end their day at the company location).

Sorting by "Schedule efficiency" highlights technicians who might not be passing close to a job location but have the time in their schedule to travel there and return before their next appointment.
Sorting by "Knows Customer" shows technicians who have done jobs for the customer previously.
"Unsorted" lets you search all of your registered technicians.
