Verizon Connect supports the following mobile (Android and iOS) operating system versions:
iOS: Verizon Connect guarantees support for the current platform major version and 2 prior major versions. As of April 2024, supported iOS versions are 15, 16, and 17.
Android: Verizon Connect guarantees support for the current platform major version and 3 prior major versions. As of April 2024, supported Android versions are 11, 12, 13, and 14.
Note that Android 12 encompasses 2 separate API levels - API level 31 (Designation S) and API level 32 (Designation S_V2). For the purposes of this policy these will be taken to refer to a single version of the Android OS, namely Android 12.
As such, Verizon Connect:
Will support issues arising in apps on those platform versions.
May support issues arising in apps on earlier platform versions.
Will delay dropping version support for a reasonable time if > 15% of active monthly users are using an earlier platform version. Users to be notified via Pendo (or alternative) in-app messaging.
Reserves the right at any time to increase the supported platform level of any app to the minimum guaranteed supported version, thereby making updates and new installs unavailable on devices with older platform versions.
