This article explains how to remotely immobilise a vehicle using Reveal. Depending on your organisation’s settings, you may do this on a vehicle’s overview page via the Fleet and device list, or the legacy Vehicle list.
The immobilisation tab is visible only to customers who have the immobilisation feature.
On the Immobilisation tab, you can prevent a vehicle from being started. To do this, you send an immobilisation request to a vehicle’s tracking unit.

The vehicle must be stopped for 10 minutes and have network coverage before you can confirm the immobilisation.
Immobilisation requests can take time to complete because Reveal performs several checks to ensure the vehicle is safe to immobilise. This may result in a Pending status that lasts up to 10 minutes.
Immobilising a vehicle
To immobilise a vehicle:
Go to Account profile > Admin > Fleet and device list.
Locate the vehicle you want to immobilise in the list, and click the three dots in the Actions column, then click View vehicle details.
On the vehicle details page, select the Immobilisation tab.
