This article describes how to resolve an inspection defect, reported in the Reveal Driver Plus mobile app, after the vehicle or asset is fixed.
To resolve a defect:
Go to the Maintenance page.
Select the Inspection history tab. Optionally, use the filters to narrow down the list of inspections.
Click VIEW next to the inspection you want to view.
Under Failed items, click on the defect that you want to resolve.
Optionally add a comment, and then click RESOLVE. Comments are visible only in Reveal, not to drivers.
In the dialog box, click RESOLVE.
The driver sees the inspection as “Resolved” in the Reveal Driver Plus app. The driver must reinspect the vehicle or asset to confirm the repairs are complete.
If the driver certifies the repairs were made, the inspection is shown as “Certified” on the Inspection history page in Reveal.
If the driver marks the defects as failed, because the defects were not yet resolved or repaired, the inspection is shown as “Failed”.
