The Create with AI feature is designed to simplify your fleet management by generating inspection forms in seconds.
Use this guide to understand how the AI logic works, where to locate the feature within Reveal, and how to resolve common issues including missing items, vehicle recognition, or form editing limitations.

If you cannot see the Create with AI prompt, check where you are looking:
- New accounts: If you have no published forms and no submitted inspections, the prompt appears on the Inspection History page.
- Active accounts: If you already have an inspection history, the prompt is moved. Go to the Forms page to find the AI tool.
Vehicle recognition and filters
- Unrecognized vehicles: The AI recognizes specific models (like "Ford F150") and categories (like "Trailer"). if the AI doesn't recognize the vehicle name, it uses a standard "Truck" or "Passenger car" template as a fallback.
- Offensive language: The system does not generate forms for offensive terms. It will automatically default to a "Truck" template and notify you of the change.
Edit a generated form
You can adjust a form after the AI generates it:
- Review screen: Before publishing, you can change the layout or select Edit Form to manually add or remove items.
- Mobile limitations: You can generate and publish forms on mobile devices, but you cannot manually edit them. To add or remove specific items, log in to Reveal on a desktop computer.
Understand form details and logic
If a form is missing items you expected, check the settings used during generation:
-
Minimum vs. Extended detail:
- Minimum: Includes only basic regulatory items (about 18–22 items). It does not include walkaround photos or driver comments.
- Extended: Includes a detailed list (35–60+ items). This mode always adds four mandatory walkaround photos and a driver comments section.
-
Maintenance checks:
- Maintenance "No": Includes only safety and legal items (brakes, lights, tires).
- Maintenance "Yes": Adds preventive checks like fluid levels, belt health, and battery condition.
- Vehicle types (EV vs. Fuel): The AI automatically adjusts for Electric Vehicles. It removes engine-specific checks (like oil and exhaust) and adds battery and charging port checks.
- Trucks vs. Trailers: The system removes impossible checks for trailers. For example, a trailer form will never include steering, horns, windshield wipers, or engine fluid checks.
Item order
The AI organizes items by physical inspection order. This helps drivers finish the job without constantly getting in and out of the vehicle.
The AI follows this sequence:
- Walkaround photos (if enabled)
- Outside checks (exterior)
- Engine compartment (if applicable)
- Interior checks (in-cab)
- General maintenance (if enabled)
- Driver comments (if enabled)
Missing maintenance checks
Check if the vehicle is a trailer. Trailers do not have engine fluids, so the AI excludes these checks automatically.
Missing walkaround photos
Photos are only included in Extended detail mode. To include photos, regenerate the form using the Extended setting or add them manually using the desktop editor.
Missing headlights and steering on trailer forms
This is intentional. Trailers do not have steering mechanisms or front-facing headlights, so the AI removes these items to keep the form accurate.
