After watching the video, you can start creating an inspection form in Reveal, or read on for more instructions.
This article describes how to create and publish an inspection form that can be displayed to your drivers in the Reveal Driver Plus mobile app.
It explains how to:Create a new inspection form
To create a new inspection form:
-
Go to the Maintenance page.
-
Select the Inspection forms tab.
-
To create an inspection form with no items added, select New inspection form.
Or, to create a form that has inspection items already added, select one of the other forms.
-
Then, create your inspection form by dragging and dropping the available components into the desired locations. You can add inspection items, photos, free text, and groups. Inspection items are the parts of the vehicle or asset you want your drivers to check for defects during their inspection. They appear in the Reveal Driver Plus app where the driver can add photos and comments to them. Add Free text so drivers can add a comment without creating any defect for inspection.
By default, drivers can take photos of defects using the app. If you require them to take additional or specific photos, drag and drop the photo inspection item. A maximum of 8 photos can be added to a form. There is an option to select the Required checkbox to make the photos and free text items mandatory for the driver to use in the Reveal Driver Plus app.
Groups allow you to group inspection items or free text components or both together under a common heading. Each item, text component, group or item within a group can be moved up or down within the form by using the drag icon
.
You can copy items, text components, photos or groups by using the copy icon
. And you can delete items, text components, photos or groups by using the delete icon
.
