Welcome to the Q2 Reveal recap! We're excited to highlight our key Reveal updates from the past three months, including significant improvements in driver ID, video safety, vehicle inspections, and API integrations. Our latest releases also feature an enhancement to the Fleet & Device List for better tracking of non-reporting units, a new in-cab audible seatbelt warning, and an update to the EV Summary Report that now includes power consumption data. Read on to find out more about how these enhancements improve fleet management, driver safety, and EV efficiency.
Always-On Buzzer for Enhanced Driver ID Compliance
For Xirgo Devices, Reveal now offers a Continuous Buzz Driver ID buzzer configuration. This feature helps ensure immediate driver assignment: as soon as the ignition is on, an audible reminder prompts drivers to log in with their keyfob. The buzzer will only cease once the driver is correctly assigned to the vehicle, enhancing both fleet management and driver accountability.
Video Safety Score: Fleet and Group Averages
Monitor the average safety score for your entire fleet or drill down to specific driver groups each week. This targeted view enables you to proactively address safety concerns and identify areas for improvement, fostering a culture of responsible driving and reducing risk.
DVIR Walk Around Photos for a complete visual record
Gain comprehensive insight into vehicle compliance with our latest DVIR enhancement. Inspections now include up to eight walkaround photos, providing a complete visual record of each vehicle's condition. This allows you to verify that inspections adhere to company policy and review images of the vehicle's rear, sides, front, engine number, and odometer.
New APIs for Video and Fleet Inspection Data
The Reveal self-service APIs now allow you to share Video-specific data, including key characteristics, triggers, post-event analysis, and fleet manager activities, with third parties.
Additionally, the new Fleet Inspections API enables integration of data from the Reveal DVIR solution with third-party maintenance providers or your internal maintenance systems. This integration allows providers to directly pull passed and failed inspection reports submitted by drivers into their maintenance systems.
Enhanced Visibility for Non-Reporting Units in Fleet & Device List
The Fleet & Device List has been improved to clearly display non-reporting units (NRUs) that have been inactive for 15 days or more. This enhancement allows for quicker identification of units with extended outages, differentiating them from those that have only recently stopped reporting. The improved visibility supports faster issue resolution, more effective maintenance planning, and better-informed decision-making through more accurate fleet data.
Seatbelt Warning
To bolster driver safety, a new in-cab audible alert has been introduced. Its purpose is to encourage seat belt use and mitigate injury severity during harsh driving incidents or collisions. By providing immediate feedback, it reinforces safe driving practices and complements the existing notification system.
EV Summary Report: Enhanced Insights into Power Consumption
The EV Summary Report has been updated to provide a more comprehensive understanding of Electric Vehicle (EV) efficiency. In addition to charging history, the report now includes detailed information on EV power consumption. This enhancement allows for:
- Tracking energy usage: Monitor how much power your EVs are consuming.
- Optimizing driving habits: Identify areas where driver behavior can be adjusted for improved performance and extended range.
- Comprehensive charging statistics: Gain a holistic view of your fleet's charging patterns.
This enriched report empowers you to make data-driven decisions concerning EV fleet management, driver behavior, and sustainability initiatives.
