You can exclude a video event from your safety metrics. This action stops the event from affecting a driver's safety score and blocks coaching for that event.
Caution
This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
Exclude an event
To exclude an event:
Go to the Video Events page.
Find and click the event you want to exclude.
In the event details, click EXCLUDE EVENT.
A confirmation message appears. Click EXCLUDE.
What happens after an event is excluded
When you exclude an event:
Safety Metrics: The event is removed from all safety metric calculations. It may take a few hours for the safety metrics to update.
Coaching: The feedback loop and coaching status are blocked for this event.
Event List Display: On the Events and Starred tabs, the excluded event appears with a reduced opacity overlay.
Reporting: The exclusion is recorded. What you see depends on your user role and platform:
Administrators and Coaching Users (Reveal Web): The Analysis Box and Event Activity Log show the exclusion and the user that excluded the event.
Basic Users (Reveal Web): The Analysis Box shows the exclusion but does not show which user performed the action.
All Users (Integrated Video App): The Analysis Box shows the exclusion but does not show which user performed the action. Administrators and Coaching users can also see this action in the Event Activity Log.
Feedback: Feedback is not requested at the end of the video for all users.
