This article provides information on how to register for the California Air Resources Board (CARB) Clean Truck Check program in Reveal.
The Clean Truck Check program requires heavy-duty vehicles that operate in the state of California to submit regular electronic emissions tests.
Before you can opt-in in Reveal, check that you have:
-
Heavy-duty vehicles that meet the criteria on the Clean Truck Check website.
By opting into Clean Truck Check in Reveal, your vehicles are automatically tested to ensure compliance with emission regulations in California. When you opt-in, Reveal periodically shares emissions data from your vehicles with CARB. This gives you time to correct any emissions diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) before your next test.
To opt-in, you need:
-
The VIN and license plate detail of each vehicle you wish to submit.
-
Vehicles that have Xirgo devices with ECM mode enabled.
To submit your vehicles to the Clean Truck Check program:
-
In Reveal web, go to the navigation bar and select your profile icon. From the drop-down menu, select Admin.
-
Go to Environmental Regulations and select CARB Clean Truck Check.
-
On the Clean Truck Check submission page, select SUBMIT VEHICLES.
-
Enter your contact details, check the box allowing Verizon Connect to share your vehicle data with CARB, then select NEXT.
Caution
Your contact details must match the details you submitted to CARB.
-
Select heavy-duty vehicles to submit to the program by checking the box beside each vehicle. To select all, check the box beside VEHICLE NAME.
Note
If license plate details or a VIN is missing, enter it by selecting the edit icon.
Note
If a vehicle is missing from the list, contact your account manager to ensure ECM mode is enabled.
-
Select NEXT.
-
Review your vehicles and contact information, then select SUBMIT.
Once you have submitted your vehicles, you will be taken to the Clean Truck Check homepage. You can expect results in around a week. Browse and familiarize yourself with the layout before exiting.
