Submit Feedback About Navigation

Please contact us if you find inaccurate road data, inconvenient routes, unreported road construction, or if you have any other general problems when using the application. We review and confirm all of the feedback we receive to improve the accuracy of the road network for everyone.

You can submit feedback by tapping the Menu icon navge_menu_icon.zoom50.png > Feedback, or by tapping the Feedback icon easy_feedback_icon-flatten.zoom8.png when it is displayed on the screen. If there are marked locations, the following Feedback icon is displayed in Arrival view:

When you are in Guidance view, the Feedback icon easy_feedback_icon-flatten.zoom8.png is displayed only when your vehicle has stopped.

Submit Feedback From Route Overview

You can submit two types of feedback from the Route Overview screen:

  • Route Feedback
  • Other Feedback

The Feedback icon easy_feedback_icon-flatten.zoom8.png is always displayed on the Route Overview screen. Tap the Feedback icon easy_feedback_icon-flatten.zoom8.png to open the Feedback menu:

The following two sections describe how to submit "Route Feedback" and "Other Feedback".

Submit Route Feedback From Route Overview

  1. Tap the Feedback icon easy_feedback_icon-flatten.zoom8.png displayed on the Route Overview screen.
  2. Tap “Route Feedback” to open the feedback window:

  3. Do one of the following:
    • Tap the close button (x) to close the feedback window.
    • Tap the Like button if you like the suggested route. When you tap the Like button a feedback field opens. Add your feedback to the field (optional), then tap Submit, or tap Cancel to close the feedback window without sending feedback.
    • Tap the Dislike button if you do not like the suggested route. When you tap the Dislike button, two check box options are displayed, as well as a feedback field. Select one of the check boxes (“Bad route” or “Incorrect destination”). Add your feedback in the feedback field (optional), then tap Submit.

Submit Other Feedback From Route Overview

  1. Tap the Feedback icon displayed on the Route Overview screen.
  2. Tap “Other Feedback” to open the Feedback menu.

  3. Tap the appropriate button to submit your feedback or send logs.

Submit Feedback From Guidance View

You can submit three types of feedback from Guidance view:

  • Route Feedback - you can submit this when you are within 500 meters of, or at, the destination.
  • Other Feedback - you can submit this any time along the route.
  • Destination Correction - you can submit this when you are within 500 meters of, or at, the destination.

When you are in Guidance view, the Feedback icon easy_feedback_icon-flatten.zoom8.png is displayed only when your vehicle has stopped.

If the route you are traveling on is shorter than 500 meters, and you tap the Feedback icon easy_feedback_icon-flatten.zoom8.png, the following Feedback menu is displayed:

If the route you are traveling on is longer than 500 meters, and you tap the the Feedback icon easy_feedback_icon-flatten.zoom8.png, the Other Feedback menu is displayed:

The following three sections describe how to submit "Route Feedback", and "Other Feedback", and a "Destination Correction".

Submit Route Feedback From Guidance View

In Guidance view, the Feedback icon easy_feedback_icon-flatten.zoom8.png is displayed if you stop within 500 meters of the destination, or when you stop at the destination.

  1. When your vehicle has stopped, tap the Feedback icon easy_feedback_icon-flatten.zoom8.png.
  2. Tap Route Feedback.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Tap the close button (x) to close the feedback window.
    • Tap the Like button if your navigation experience was positive. When you tap the Like button a feedback field opens. Add your feedback to the field (optional), then tap Submit, or tap Cancel to close the feedback window without sending feedback.
    • Tap the Dislike button if your navigation experience was negative. When you tap the Dislike button, two check box options are displayed, as well as a feedback field. Select one of the check boxes (“Bad route” or “Incorrect destination”). Add your feedback to the feedback field (optional), then tap Submit.

If you have submitted route feedback you need to wait at least 2 minutes before you can submit feedback again.

Submit Other Feedback From Guidance View

In Guidance view, the Feedback icon easy_feedback_icon-flatten.zoom8.png is displayed if you stop within 500 meters of the destination, or when you stop at the destination.

  1. When your vehicle has stopped, tap the Feedback icon easy_feedback_icon-flatten.zoom8.png.
  2. Tap Other Feedback to open the Feedback menu.

  3. Tap the appropriate button to submit your feedback or send logs.

If you have submitted "Other Feedback" you need to wait at least 2 minutes before you can submit feedback again.

Submit a Destination Correction From Guidance View

If you arrive at your destination after navigating a route and your location shown in Guidance view is not the destination address, you can submit feedback to correct the location coordinates of the destination address with those of your stop location.

You can submit the destination correction feedback when you stop within 500 meters of the destination, or when you stop at the destination. If you are more than 500 meters from your destination you can submit “Other Feedback” only (this includes the following feedback options: "Marked Locations", "General Feedback", "Satisfaction Survey", and "Send Logs").

  1. When your vehicle has stopped tap the Feedback icon easy_feedback_icon-flatten.zoom8.png.
  2. Tap Destination Correction, or tap Cancel to return to Guidance view without sending feedback.
  3. Submit your feedback.

If you have submitted feedback to correct a destination address, you need to wait at least 2 minutes before you can submit feedback again.

Submit Route Feedback From Arrival View

When you arrive at a destination and are no longer moving, a route feedback window is displayed on Arrival view, asking you to rate your navigation experience.

The route feedback window is displayed even if you have already submitted route feedback via Guidance view.

Do one of the following:

  • Tap the close button (x) to close the feedback window.
  • Tap the Like button if your navigation experience was positive. When you tap the Like button a feedback field opens. Add your feedback to the field (optional), then tap Submit, or tap Cancel to close the feedback window without sending feedback..
  • Tap the Dislike button if your navigation experience was negative. When you tap the Dislike button, two check box options are displayed, as well as a feedback field. Select one of the check boxes (“Bad route” or “Incorrect destination”). Add your feedback to the feedback field (optional), then tap Submit.

If you close the window or submit route feedback, the Feedback icon easy_feedback_icon-flatten.zoom8.png is displayed on the screen. If there are marked locations, the following Feedback icon is displayed:

Submit Feedback About a Marked Location

While you are driving you can mark a location and submit feedback about the location at a later time.

  1. Tap the Flag icon flag_icon.zoom50.png on the map to mark your current location. When you are in Guidance view, the Flag icon flag_icon.zoom50.png is displayed only when your vehicle has stopped.
    Tapping the Flag icon flag_icon.zoom50.png creates a "marked location" for you to place feedback on later. If you accidentally tapped the Flag icon flag_icon.zoom50.png, tap Undo to unmark the location. The option to undo is available for only a few moments before it disappears. You can delete the marked location at a later time.

Submit Marked Location Feedback From the Main Menu

  1. Tap the Menu icon navge_menu_icon.zoom50.png, then tap Feedback.
    The Marked Locations button on the Feedback menu indicates how many marked locations there are.

    If there are no marked locations, the Marked Locations button is grayed out.
  2. Tap Marked Locations to open the Locations screen. The marked locations are listed, with the most recent at the top.
  3. Tap the location you want to submit feedback for.
  4. Enter your feedback in the feedback field.
  5. Pan the map to adjust the location marker, if necessary. The address of the marked location is updated as you pan the map. 
  6. Tap the Submit icon send_icon.zoom60.png.

Submit Marked Location Feedback From Route Overview

  1. Tap the Feedback icon easy_feedback_icon-flatten.zoom8.png.
  2. Tap Other Feedback to open the Feedback menu.
  3. Place your feedback as described in the previous procedure.

Submit Marked Location Feedback From Arrival View

Either tap the Marked Locations link to open the Locations screen directly, or follow these steps:

  1. Tap the Feedback icon easy_feedback_icon-flatten.zoom8.png.
  2. Tap Marked Locations to open the Locations screen.
  3. Tap the marked location you want to place feedback on.
  4. Enter and submit your feedback.

Delete a Marked Location

If you no longer need to provide feedback about a marked location, follow these steps to delete it from the Locations screen.

  1. Tap the Menu icon navge_menu_icon.zoom50.png, then tap Feedback.
  2. Tap Marked Locations.
  3. On the Locations screen, tap the location you want to delete.
  4. Tap the Trash icon trash_icon.zoom80.png to delete it.

Submit General Feedback

  1. Tap the Menu icon navge_menu_icon.zoom50.png, then tap Feedback.
  2. Tap General Feedback.
  3. Enter your feedback in the text box.
  4. Tap the Submit icon send_icon.zoom60.png.

Submit a Satisfaction Survey

Occasionally, a Satisfaction Survey will pop up on the screen. This survey invites you to place feedback on your overall experiences with Navigation. The following screenshot shows the options that are available to you for the Satisfaction Survey:

If you would like to provide feedback about the app, but have not been invited to, you can open and complete the satisfaction survey any time. Note that you can submit a maximum of two satisfaction surveys per day. If you have submitted two satisfaction surveys today, you will need to wait until tomorrow to submit more.

  1. Tap the Menu icon navge_menu_icon.zoom50.png, then tap Feedback.
  2. Tap Satisfaction Survey.
  3. Select the icon that describes how you feel about the app.
  4. Enter any additional feedback in the text box.
  5. Tap Submit.
  6. In the next window, tap Return to Navigation.

Send Logs

If you are experiencing problems with the app and Verizon Connect support asks you to send your logs, follow these steps to send your logs directly to the support team.

  1. Tap the Menu icon navge_menu_icon.zoom50.png, then tap Feedback.
  2. Tap Send Logs.
  3. Tap OK.
