Call 1-844-617-1100 (option 4) to book an installation partner technician in your area. Installation is available in the contiguous United States. We don’t offer installation of non-powered asset trackers.
The time needed for installation varies, depending on the device and installation method. A tracker typically takes 30 minutes, cameras can take 60-120 minutes each, and accessories generally take 15-30 minutes. You can find a duration estimate in your device’s installation guide.
Once you have an appointment scheduled, confirm with your technician:

The date, time and duration of the installation appointment.

The scope of work. Your Verizon Connect CSM/sales person will give you a confirmation of the technician’s work order. Check with the technician that the items on that work order are the same as the ones on their work order.

Access to the vehicle, with the keys available in the ignition, for the entire duration of the appointment.

The hardware. Check that what’s in the box matches what’s on the Installation prep sheet. This is a pdf document that is emailed to you. If the vehicles and/or hardware are not available at the installation appointment, a no show fee may apply.

The identified point of contact should be on site at the agreed-upon time and location.
You can decide where the installation takes place. It’s important to have a safe, accessible environment. For all installations, choose somewhere:

Safe and well lit, away from moving vehicles.

With good network coverage and ideally with a clear view of the sky. The device must be able to connect to GPS or a cellular network to complete the installation.
If installing dashcams:

Where the windshield temperature is not too hot or cold, recommended between 50°F to 80°F. To regulate the temperature, park indoors, park in the shade, or use your vehicle’s air conditioning system.

On flat, level ground with at least 25 yards of clear space ahead.
